TIME’s 2022 Women of the Year list features 12 individuals who have reached across communities, generations, and borders to fight for a more inclusive and equitable world.
This year’s recipients include: Amal Clooney, Zahra Joya, Kacey Musgraves, Kerry Washington, Tracy Chou, Allyson Felix, Adena Friedman, Amanda Gorman, Sherrilyn Ifill, Jennie Joseph, Amanda Nguye, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez.
On March 8, International Women’s Day, the honorees will convene at a TIME Women of the Year gala in Los Angeles.
