The artist SHAG has created this 17 color silkscreen print for Hollywood’s Magic Castle, a private nightclub for magicians and fans of magic which opened in 1963.
In the image, Milt Larsen, one of the founders of the castle, stands in front of the establishment he created with his brother and sister-in-law.
Through the windows, well known magicians and their guests can be seen experiencing some of the spectacles and oddities one can only find in The Magic Castle.
The print will be made available to Magic Castle Members and friends for a special price on Tuesday, March 15 at a cocktail reception in the Magic Castle from 8:00 to 10:00 pm. The event is limited to members of the Magic Castle and their guests.
The print goes on sale to the public on Saturday, March 19th at the SHAG Store in Palm Springs during their own magical cocktail party from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
