Spider-Man: No Way Home Digital Release Date Changed To March 15, 2022 After Leak

Fans won’t have to wait quite as long to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home legally from their homes.

While the physical release date of April 12, 2022, is still set, the digital release date has been changed from the original date of March 22, 2022. This move comes after a Blu-ray quality copy of the film began circulating online and being widely distributed. As such, Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s new digital release date is March 15, 2022, which is one week earlier than originally planned. Vudu, Apple, and Google Play all confirm the new date on their respective pre-order pages for the digital version of the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick.

Spider-Man: No Way Home saw the return of Tom Holland as the beloved titular wall-crawler, along with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange. It was directed by Jon Watts from a screenplay written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

It also starred Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress (Tag) along with Sony’s Spider-Man Universe alums Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are already actively beginning to develop their next Spider-Man film together.

The film currently holds a worldwide gross of over $1.8 billion at the box office.
