Mondo will release Angel in Flip-Flops performed by Charles-Hayden Savage (Steve Martin) on 7-inch black vinyl this week. The “B” side is the Main Title from Only Murders in the Building by Siddhartha Khosla.
In the show, Steve Martin’s in-universe character Charles-Hayden Savage released a vanity album in the 70’s called “Brazos Sings.” In the Season Two episode “Here’s Looking At You,” his fellow podcasters Mable (Selena Gomez) and Oliver Putman (Martin Short) discover a copy of the original vinyl record and give it a spin.
