To celebrate the release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Red Wing has teamed up with Nintendo to make a pixel-for-pixel, real-world recreation of Mario’s signature footwear.
Appropriate for his job as a plumber, the boots are crafted from Red Wing’s signature brown leather, with a reinforced toe box, rounded heel, and a heel pad made with mushroom-infused materials in a shout-out to Mario’s growth-inducing power-ups.
The boots will be displayed at Nintendo New York through April; The Super Mario Bros. Movie opens in theaters on April 5th.
