Peacock’s newest comedy series Bupkis has a release date, with the Pete Davidson-led series set to premiere on May 4, 2023.
Besides Davidson the show has a stellar cast including Edie Falco (who plays Davidson’s mother) and Joe Pesci (who plays Davidson’s grandfather). Guest stars Charlie Day, Brad Garrett, Simon Rex, Ray Romano, Kenan Thompson, and Chase Sui Wonders will also appear.
Bupkis is a raw, unflinching, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life. It’s set to include a mixture of grounded storytelling with absurd elements, where it will reflect Davidson’s real-life persona “with an unapologetically unfiltered, R-rated storytelling.
The series is co-written by Davidson, Judah Miller, and Dave Sirus, who also co-wrote Judd Apatow’s The King of Staten Island, which was also inspired by Davidson’s life.
