This Thursday, Bottleneck Gallery will continue to honor the legacy of artist and brilliant sculptor Gabriel Marquez with the newest entry in the Cookiezillaverse–Elmo Kong!
Gabriel’s original character and statue, Cookiezilla (seen above) was an internet sensation! Gabriel’s unfortunate passed in 2021 and the hopes is to keep Gabriel’s artistic spirit alive.
Working off of a concept by Doug Nagle, Bottleneck brought Cookiezilla’s most fierce (so far!) adversary to life as an incredibly detailed resin statue. Elmo Kong is both oddly cuddly and fearsome, making Doug’s unique addition to the Cookiezillaverse a perfect fit!
The gallery will be donating 10% of profits to the Pediatric Tumor Foundation.
