1. Be Prepared
You will have created a business plan before you opened your new restaurant. The plan gives you an idea of your goals, the costs involved, potentially turnover, and can help you to get finance if you need it.
However, no matter how well you plan, things will happen that you cannot control and perhaps don’t expect. You don’t need to guess all the things that can go wrong. Instead, you need to be prepared for the idea that things will go wrong.
That means staying calm and making sure you have a small financial safety net to help you through difficult situations. There will be unexpected costs.
2. Do Not Focus On Profit
Opening a restaurant means you have a passion for food and want to supply high-quality food to customers. However, the simple fact is that most restaurants do not make a profit in their first year.

5. Be Aware of New Friends
Once you open a bar or restaurant you will find you have an array of new friends. Everyone wants to know the owner and get a free drink or more. You need to stay focused on your goals for the restaurant, not living the lifestyle. That is the difference between success and failure.

With Ghostbusters: Afterlife hitting arriving in theaters this November, General Mills gives fans an early taste of the film with the release of Ghostbusters cereal!

What’s a birthday party without cake? To celebrate its 50th birthday this year, Pebbles cereal is launching a new limited-edition Birthday Cake Pebbles cereal featuring festive, colorful flakes in blue, pink and yellow, and a classic vanilla birthday cake and frosting flavor. The new cereal will begin rolling out nationwide in April and will be available while supplies last.
