You Could Win 1 of 10,000 Boxes of Lucky Charms Marshmallows!

In 2015, 10 lucky people won a box of “Marshmallow Only” Lucky Charms through a social media sweepstakes. But according to the brand’s many marshmallow maniacs, 10 boxes just wasn’t enough.

This month, specially-marked boxes of Lucky Charms are hitting retail stores across the U.S. that include a code on the inside back panel. Just enter that 14-digit code at MarshmallowOnly.com to see if you’re one of the 10,000 lucky winners.

Lucky Charms’ specially-marked boxes for this promotion will be available on store shelves across the U.S. soon, with limited distribution, and will be more widely available in a few weeks. The sweepstakes will run through December 2017. Official rules can be found at MarshmallowOnly.com.

If you are lucky enough to have a winning code, you’ll receive a special Lucky Charms Marshmallows box in the mail a few weeks after entering it on the website. Once you receive your marshmallows box, share a photo or video on Lucky Charms’ Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages.

And the wonderfully positive reception for the Scum & Villainy Cantina has been very gratifying,” says Reifenberg. “Every night, it’s such fun to set the ball in motion, and then watch this amazing, enthusiastic clientele elevate the experience to new heights with great cosplay, crazy trivia competitions, impromptu conga lines and silly fanboy fun. Introducing The Frork: McDonald’s Latest Invention

Today, McDonald’s revealed the Frork, a quasi-utensil, fry-fork hybrid designed solely for scooping up the quality ingredients that may fall while eating a new Signature Crafted Recipes sandwich.

McDonald’s is continuing to raise the bar with the national rollout of its Signature Crafted Recipes sandwiches, which feature premium ingredients and unique flavor combinations, including Pico Guacamole, Sweet BBQ Bacon and Maple Bacon Dijon. Each sandwich is served with delicious toppings for customers to enjoy, even when they fall out. McDonald’s is tackling this so-called dilemma with the Frork, a silicone fork-shaped utensil topped with an opening where the customer can insert three-to-four World Famous Fries. The fries become the prongs of the Frork — edible, utilitarian and desperately innovative.

To announce the Frork, McDonald’s turned to legendary pitchman Anthony Sullivan, who shares McDonald’s passion for solving consumer problems with unique products. Sullivan recently starred in McDonald’s first-ever infomercial, which aired in New York on Sunday, April 30th.

The Frork works with all three new Signature Crafted Recipes — premium sandwiches that put flavor at the forefront, also giving customers a choice through recipe, protein and bun selection. Signature Crafted Recipes are available for an average price of $4.99 – $5.19 at participating McDonald’s.

– Pico Guacamole: Smooth and creamy meets chunky and spicy with white cheddar cheese, guacamole made with 100% Hass avocados, freshly prepared Pico de Gallo, crisp leaf lettuce and creamy buttermilk ranch sauce made with real buttermilk and sour cream blended with shallots, garlic and spices. Served with a fresh lime wedge.

– Sweet BBQ Bacon: Sweet BBQ meets savory, with grilled onions, thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon, creamy white cheddar, delicious BBQ sauce, all topped with golden crispy onions.

– Maple Bacon Dijon: A satisfying combination of sweet and savory, with grilled onions, thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon with sweet maple seasoning, white cheddar, crisp leaf lettuce and a creamy Dijon sauce.

The Frork and Signature Crafted Recipes can be found near you:

Starting April 30, the people can all 1-844-MCD-FRORK (1-844-623-3767) to learn how to get the Frork and coupons to try all three Signature Crafted Recipes. On May 5, Frorks will be given away at select McDonald’s locations nationwide with the purchase of a Signature Crafted Recipes sandwich, while supplies last. Customers can call the same toll-free line or visit McDonalds.com to find the nearest participating McDonald’s.

Finally, from May 4 – May 8, with the purchase of a Signature Crafted Recipes sandwich, customers will receive a free medium fry and soft drink at participating McDonald’s.

KFC Will Launch A Chicken Sandwich Into Space?

KFC is plotting to launch a chicken sandwich into space.

The Zinger, a spicy, crispy breaded-chicken sandwich that debuts in the U.S. on April 24 is already one of the top-selling sandwiches in KFC’s international markets.

To promote the Zinger, actor Rob Lowe signed on to be the brand’s latest celebrity colonel, following in the footsteps of Billy Zane, Vincent Kartheiser, Rob Riggle and George Hamilton. The revolving door of celebrity colonels has paid off for KFC, helping boost sales and increase interest in the brand among consumers under 35.

Starbucks Weaves Its Magic With New Color & Flavor Changing Unicorn Frappuccino

The elusive unicorn from medieval legend has been making a comeback. Once only found in enchanted forests, unicorns have been popping up in social media with shimmering unicorn-themed food and drinks. Now Starbucks is taking the trend to a new level with its first Unicorn Frappuccino blended beverage, available starting Wednesday, April 19, through Sunday, April 23, while supplies last.

The Unicorn Frappuccino blended crème is made with a sweet dusting of pink powder, blended into a crème Frappuccino with mango syrup and layered with a pleasantly sour blue drizzle. It is finished with vanilla whipped cream and a sprinkle of sweet pink and sour blue powder topping.

Like its mythical namesake, the Unicorn Frappuccino blended crème comes with a bit of magic, starting as a purple beverage with swirls of blue and a first taste that is sweet and fruity. But give it a stir and its color changes to pink, and the flavor evolves to tangy and tart. The more swirl, the more the beverage’s color and flavors transform.

This limited-time offering is as fleeting as a rainbow, available April 19-23, while supplies last in participating Starbucks stores in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Justice League Is Coming To Breakfast

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The Justice League has come to the front, back and inside of several of General Mills cereals.

It’s the latest partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment, available on boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios, Multi Grain Cheerios, Trix, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

“In brainstorming with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC, we were energized by the similarities and popularity of the Justice League characters and of our own cereal characters,” says Lisa Kessel, a marketing communications manager at General Mills. “DC shared that many of their artists were also huge cereal fans and we were excited to bring that love of cereal and the love of comics together in one holistic event.”

Six cereal boxes are getting a complete DC Super Hero makeover. The front of five boxes feature transformations of our General Mills’ characters, and one box features Wonder Woman.

These specially-marked boxes also include one of four exclusive DC comic books – titled “Power Play,” “Dark Reflections,” “Truth Hurts,” and “Alien Justice.”

And the action doesn’t stop there. The back of the boxes, when lined up, make a powerful panoramic, designed by well-known comic book artist Ivan Reis. After 26 years in the industry, Reis has created classic-modern artwork for more than 200 comic books. He told us he enjoyed the challenge of creating the back-of-the-box composite art.

“The art is about three feet wide when put together. It’s huge, and it doesn’t even fit my drawing board,” he says. “While working on them, I would split it and assemble it back together all the time to see how the entire image looked.”
