1

There are opportunities available to partner with web companies that sell domain names. You can become an affiliate; you can advertise with register, or you can become a reseller. Whichever option you choose, you are most likely to capitalize on it.

Types of Partnerships Available

Become an Affiliate

Before becoming an affiliate, do not forget to reserve domain name. After getting into the affiliate program, you will get compensated for garnering sales. For example, if you sell the web company’s products, you will receive a percentage of all the sales that you have made on their behalf.

The process is free when you recommend and sell their domain name registration and hosting products. You will get provided with animated or static banner ads, text links, and product links. All you have to do is to drive traffic to the site on which you are doing the promotion.

The benefits you get include a 45-day cookie length, custom original ad links, and a well-known worldwide brand. Additionally, you will earn up to $750 per web hosting sale. The products will be easy to sell, and you will get monthly promotions. Finally, joining the program is free.

The steps you have to follow are: Filling out an application, add links and banners to your site, and refer customers by driving them to your site.

You will be able to tell how many page views you have had a day, week, or month. You will be able to determine how many individual visitors came to your page. You can also tell how many people subscribed to your newsletters.

You can use ad solution placement such as:

1. Display advertising
This entails a variety of banners that can be static or animated and rich media. They comply with the standard IAB units.

The Learning Center can also get sponsored. For example, a particular topic can get purchased. There is also high SOV media and advertorials.

4. Partner Offers Packages
A partner gets recommended through a menu of options such as ROS banners and text links, and also a featured partner section.

5. Email Marketing
Email products get sold via banners.

6. Customized Advertising
A combination of ads get mixed and matched to create a customized solution.

Become a Reseller

Facebook Reactions

1

Facebook’s redesigned Like button is finally here! After months of testing, the social network is finally rolling out reactions to everyone, Facebook announced Wednesday. The update, which includes four new reactions — Love, Haha, Wow, Sad and Angry — will be available to all users in the next couple of days.

To access the new options, simply hold down the Like button on the app (or hover over it with your mouse, if you’re on desktop) to view all the reactions and tap on the one you want to add to a post. As with likes, you’ll be able to see how many people have reacted to a particular post or photo.

Facebook Product Manager Sammi Krug shared that his team spent months conducting research and surveying users to hone in on what, exactly, was missing from the Like button. (While Facebook users have been begging for a “dislike,” option pretty much since the beginning of the Like, Mark Zuckerberg has spoken at length about why he thinks there should be more nuanced reactions than “dislike.”)

The biggest consideration through it all though was finding sentiments so universal that they would be easily translate across all the countries where people use Facebook (which is just about everywhere.) That’s also why the company chose to roll the feature out first to countries like Spain, Portugal, Chile, Japan and Colombia before bringing them to the rest of the world.

Up All Night To Get Lucky? UK Casino Tops the Charts

o-DAFT-PUNK-GET-LUCKY-facebook

The launch in the UK of the new online casino, Getlucky.com, leans heavily on the Daft Punk track of the same name featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers. The hook line Up all night to get lucky is inevitably playing a prominent part in the appeals that the new venture is pushing out to prospective players. It made us wonder, what other tracks might represent the perfect pre-packaged, chart-topping commercial accompaniment?

Daft Punk’s adult-oriented lyrics are right on the money when it comes to generating the sense of cheeky and carefree, grown up fun that Getlucky’s producers are seeking to generate:

She’s up all night to the sun

I’m up all night to get some

She’s up all night for good fun

I’m up all night to get lucky

It’s a pairing that sets the bar quite high. So what did we come up with? This isn’t a scientific list, and you’re welcome to add your own, just as you’re welcome to shoot ours down in flames. Here’s what we came up with:

There is something about the way that – even post Steve Jobs – Apple go about their business that we couldn’t resist. On that basis, Tears for Fears’ Everybody wants to Rule the World struck us as being pretty much spot on when it came to Apple. They really do seem to want to rule the world, and they probably soon will.

Maybe not quite so subversively there was a vote for the Backstreet Boys as the new face of the sandwich chain Subway. I Want it that Way is pretty much as close to the Subway mantra as you could hope to come up with. Obviously it would be better if the band changed their name to the Highstreet Boys, but, hey, you can’t have everything. Tempting as it was, we ruled out the idea of including the collective French Mushroom industry’s case for inclusion as the natural partner for Queen’s classic anthem We are the Champignons. This isn’t that kind of list.

There was a vote that we did allow for the breakdown services – AA, RAC, National Breakdown etc. – to be represented by Salt N Pepa’s Push It. We can be pretty cruel sometimes.

And we liked the idea that Nike might make something of Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run, although the Boss himself might not think much of that idea.
We liked the idea that Donald Trump could get tuneful with Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars with Billionaire, although in fairness that bird has already flown. And anyway, we’ve already done ruling the world once…

Last but not least our favorite was Friends Reunited – remember them? And the song to sum it up perfectly? There was only one choice – Yesterday – they didn’t get so lucky!

Harry Potter Returns In New Short Story By J.K. Rowling

p.txt

J.K. Rowling has given fans a glimpse of the grown-up boy wizard in a new story posted Tuesday on her Pottermore website.

It’s the first update since ‘‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’’ was published in 2007, but Rowling spokesman Mark Hutchinson said there are ‘‘no plans’’ for a new Potter novel.

The 1,500-word story describes Harry, about to turn 34, attending the final of the Quidditch World Cup with his family and old friends Ron and Hermione.

Harry now has ‘‘threads of silver’’ in his hair and a mysterious cut on his cheekbone, related to his ‘‘top secret’’ work as an evil-battling Auror.

The story is written in the style of a gossip column for the Daily Prophet by reporter Rita Skeeter, a minor character in the novels.

The style allows Rowling to poke fun at the tabloid press, a real-life bugbear that she has accused of invading her privacy and that of her family.

Skeeter observes that Harry and friends are ‘‘no longer the fresh-faced teenagers they were in their heyday’’ and speculates about the state of Harry’s marriage to Ginny Weasley.

She says Ron Weasley’s red hair ‘‘appears to be thinning slightly,’’ and notes witheringly that Harry still wears ‘‘the distinctive round glasses that some might say are better suited to a style-deficient 12-year-old.’’

The story discloses that Ron now runs the family joke shop, while Hermione is a — literally — high-flying civil servant, Deputy Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

There are also updates on other characters, including Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood, as well as glimpses of a new generation of teenage wizards.

Rowling has long said that ‘‘Deathly Hallows,’’ would be the last Potter novel, but has produced other Potter-related material, including spin-off story collection, ‘‘The Tales of Beedle the Bard.’’

You can read the story HERE.
