Watch The Truth Seekers Trailer

Amazon Prime has released the first trailer for its upcoming comedy series Truth Seekers. The show reunites longtime collaborators Simon Pegg (Mission: Impossible – Fallout) and Nick Frost (Fighting with My Family), who have worked together on a number of terrific projects including Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead and The World’s End.

While details surrounding Pegg’s character Dave are currently unknown, Frost will portray Gus, one of two members of a ghost-hunting duo that uncover and film paranormal sighting across the U.K. who stakes out haunted churches, abandoned hospitals and similar locations using homemade ghost-detecting gadgets. As the two uncover a conspiracy that could threaten the human race, their experiences grow more frequent and terrifying.

The pair have been working together onscreen for over 20 years, beginning with the cult hit TV series Spaced (co-written by Pegg, directed by Edgar Wright), which ran for two seasons on Channel 4. Pegg, Frost, and Wright expanded their partnership on the big screen with the Cornetto Trilogy, consisting of 2004’s Shaun of the Dead, 2007’s Hot Fuzz and 2013’s The World’s End, as well as the non-Wright American feature Paul, which was co-written by Pegg and Frost.

On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.
