Matt Reeves Shares First Look At The Batmobile

The Batman director and co-writer Matt Reeves has shared three new photos featuring a first look at the Batmobile.

Warner Bros. Pictures has confirmed all of the cast and crew for the film. Starring alongside Robert Pattinson’s Batman/Bruce Wayne is Zoë Kravitz (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Mad Max: Fury Road) as Selina Kyle; Paul Dano (Love & Mercy, 12 Years a Slave) as Edward Nashton; Jeffrey Wright (the Hunger Games films) as the GCPD’s James Gordon; John Turturro (the Transformers films) as Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard (The Magnificent Seven, Black Mass) as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Jayme Lawson (Farewell Amor) as mayoral candidate Bella Reál; with Andy Serkis (the Planet of the Apes films, Black Panther) as Alfred; and Colin Farrell (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Dumbo) as Oswald Cobblepot. Twins Max and Charlie Carver have also joined the movie in “sizable roles.”

Plot details are still being kept under wraps but The Batman is reportedly set to explore the Dark Knight’s younger years with Reeves further hinting at the film’s connection to the iconic comic book story arc “Year One” by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli which was published in 1987.

The Batman opens in theaters on June 25, 2021.

Chevrolet, along with students from Detroit’s Cody Rouge community, A World in Motion and FIRST LEGO League, unveiled its life-size LEGO Batmobile today at the North American International Auto Show.

Measuring 17-feet long and featuring exclusive stud shooters, the LEGO Batmobile from Chevrolet was designed to strike fear in the heart of any villain. The vehicle was inspired by Batman’s Speedwagon featured in “The LEGO Batman Movie,” which hits U.S. theaters on Feb. 10.

In this exciting new animated LEGO adventure, Batman, DC’s iconic Super Hero who famously prefers to work alone, must learn to cooperate and connect with others to save Gotham City from The Joker.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Dawn of Justice Kryptonite Interception (76045) Revealed

Back in June, LEGO teased part of the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Kryptonite Interception (76045) set but there is now “official” images of both the set as well as the box art.

The 306 piece set includes minifigures of Ben Affleck’s Batman and two Lexcorp Henchman. The set also has the new Batmobile as well as a Lexcorp forklift carrying kryptonite.

The set will be available on January 1, 2016b and retail for $29.99.

Hot Toys Batmobile Teased For Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Since the release of the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer, Hot Toys has been teasing their upcoming collectible figures for the highly-anticipated movie. Now, they’ve provided a first look at the Hot Toys Batmobile, which is 1/6th scale and will fully unveiled at Hot Toys’ booth (F01-16) at the upcoming Toy Soul 2015 on December 18th in Hong Kong.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio from a screenplay by David S. Goyer, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, joined by Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open worldwide on March 25, 2016.

Check Out Artist Nathan Sawaya’s LEGO Batmobile

Legendary LEGO brick artist, Nathan Sawaya, unveiled the world’s largest LEGO Batmobile made from half of a million LEGO bricks. The life-size LEGO Batmobile will be the centerpiece among over 120 works of DC Comics-inspired art showcased during Sawaya’s global touring exhibition, The Art of The Brick: DC Comics, a collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment, which is opening at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Australia this November. Sawaya collaborated with acclaimed artist and DC Entertainment Co-publisher, Jim Lee, for the design of the new Batmobile sculpture, which measures over 18-feet long.

Warner Bros. recently announced that the new Batman v Superman Batmobile will be on display at their Studio Tour in Hollywood, California, and now they’ve revealed a video of the vehicle’s arrival for display. The Batmobile will be on display from September 4 until the end of the year.
