Announcing Waffle House Beer – Bacon And Kegs

Waffle House is getting an official beer as part of its collaboration with Oconee Brewing Company. And yes, it smells like bacon.

The cans feature a drawing of the iconic Waffle House restaurant as well as its famous sign. The signature yellow is printed as a backdrop on the can that is adorned with bacon strips and mugs of beer.

“The beloved scent of bacon stands out from the typical medium hop aroma of a red ale,” the brewery wrote in the Facebook post. “The malty sweetness of the base beer blends perfectly with the salty, savory, and smoky bacon extract to create a delicious and unique beer. Bacon & Kegs pairs well with breakfast food items (obviously!) or can be enjoyed as a stand-alone, soon to be iconic beer.”

The cans will be available in six packs or draft exclusively at Oconee Brewing Company beginning December 18.

Craft beer lovers! What a weekend to be a baseball fan! The Boston Red Sox just won the World Series after a historic regular season, and it’s Sam Adams’ first year as the Official Beer of the Boston Red Sox. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not. But either way, now it’s time to celebrate!

Sam Adams is releasing Damage Done Double IPA exclusively at their Boston Brewery in honor of the 2018 World Series Champions, the Boston Red Sox.

At 7.3% ABV, this power hitter Double New England IPA is aged on vanilla beans with guava, mango and lactose added for as much fun and flavor as the Sox themselves. IHOPS Pumpkin Pancake Stout

In the spirit of fall, IHOP partnered with Keegan Ales in Kingston, New York, to create IHOPS, a pumpkin pancake stout.

In an informative behind-the-scenes video, the folks at Keegans shared exactly what went into the mix, including pancake batter, maple syrup and pumpkin spice. This very limited, autumnal brew is available on tap at locations around New York state and will be featured at IHOPS events throughout New York in October 2018.

IHOP’s Best-of-Fall pancakes are back, and they’re so pancakin’ good, someone shouted, “These should be brewed into liquid form!” And we totally agreed. IHOPS is a Pumpkin Pancake Stout that combines IHOP’s pancakes, pumpkins, maple syrup and other pancake ingredients to create an innovative new flavor profile. …It’s a very exclusive limited-edition brew. It won’t even be in our restaurants. Only a select batch (about 20 barrels) has been brewed for kegs and bottles to share with our favorite bars and beer festivals in the tri-state area.
