Coco – Dante’s Lunch… A Short Tail

If you absolutely loved the Coco teaser trailer that Disney Pixar gave us a look at earlier this month, you probably noticed that Miguel, the main character of Coco, also has an adorable dog named Dante.

In the beautiful video, we see Dante chasing after a bone that seems to have a mind of its own. We get a look at the town that he and Miguel live in, along with the townspeople. As Dante gets into various shenanigans trying to keep up with the bone he has been chasing, he eventually ends up right in front of a skeleton, who delicately takes the bone from Dante, and replaces it into his skeleton arm. Dante is not phased by this, as he immediately attaches himself to the skeleton, who walks away with Dante on his ankle.

Here is a synopsis of the upcoming film:

Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colourful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

Directed by Lee Unkrich (“Toy Story 3”), co-directed by Adrian Molina (story artist “Monsters University”) and produced by Darla K. Anderson (“Toy Story 3”), Disney Pixar’s Coco opens on November 22, 2017.
