Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big-screen adventure finds her facing two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah. With director Patty Jenkins back at the helm and Gal Gadot returning in the title role, Wonder Woman 1984 is Warner Bros. Pictures’ follow up to the DC Super Hero’s first outing, 2017’s record-breaking Wonder Woman.

The film also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as The Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Max Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta. 

Patty Jenkins directed from a screenplay she wrote with Geoff Johns & David Callaham.

In theaters and exclusively on HBO Max December 25.

Marvel Studios: Legends To Debut On January 8, 2021 On Disney+

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding with the start of Phase Four! In addition to the arrival of Marvel Studios’ WandaVision on Disney+ on January 15, 2021, a new ongoing series will dive deeper into the stories of the MCU’s most compelling characters. 

Coming exclusively to Disney+, Marvel Studios: Legends is a new series that will showcase individual characters viewers have come to know and love over the years and revisit some of their most iconic moments. Marvel Studios: Legends kicks off by highlighting Wanda Maximoff and Vision, the two stars of WandaVision, and their interconnected path across the MCU that led them both here.

The first two episodes of Marvel Studios: Legends, featuring Wanda and Vision, premiere on January 8, 2021, only on Disney+.

Marvel Studios: Legends explores Wanda’s story as she grapples with cruel hardships and loss, a chaotic power that she strives to control, and shifting loyalties from those she trusts most.

Vision

Born into the world in Avengers: Age of Ultron Vision chooses to fight on the side of humanity, though he himself is an artificial form of life. Marvel Studios: Legends follows Vision on his quest to understand humans more fully, evolving to be more like them, as he explores a romantic relationship with Wanda Maximoff in Captain America: Civil War. All of this leads to his final moments, as he makes the ultimate sacrifice for mankind, leaving those he loved to an uncertain future.

The Merc with a Mouth turns 30! Three decades ago, Deadpool first appeared in the legendary New Mutants #98 by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza, and the comic book world has never been the same! Alfred Molina Reprising Doctor Octopus Role For Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 3

Alfred Molina will be reprising his villainous role as Otto Octavius, aka Doctor Octopus, in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 movie led by Tom Holland. The character last appeared in Sam Raimi’s 2004 Oscar-winning movie Spider-Man 2 starring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst.

Tom Holland will return for the untitled third Spider-Man film as the titular wall-crawler alongside Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, going up against Jamie Foxx’s Electro. Given the ending of Far From Home, however, any number of his rogues’ gallery are also likely eager for a fight. The third installment to the MCU’s Spider-Man films will also feature the return of Zendaya (Euphoria, Dune) as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned.

Originally scheduled for a July 16, 2021 release, the untitled Spider-Man 3 will now be released on December 17, 2021.

Superman & Lois Reveals First Look At The Man of Steel’s New Suit

The CW has released a new key art promo for the upcoming Arrowverse series Superman & Lois, giving us our first look at Tyler Hoechlin’s new Superman suit. The series is scheduled to make its debut on February 23, 2021.

Joining Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch in Superman & Lois are cast members Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin, portraying the roles of Jonathan and Jordan Kent, respectively. The series will also feature Dylan Walsh as General Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang-Cushing, Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Inde Navarette as Sarah Cushing, and Wolé Parks as The Stranger.

Hoechlin first appeared as the Man of Steel in the first two episodes of Supergirl Season 2 and has reprised the role in 2018’s crossover event Elseworlds with Tulloch debuting as Lois. Both of them appeared in the most recent Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths.
