Watch The Trailer For Disney Descendants

Descendants-Poster

Ever asked yourself what happened to the Disney Villains after the movie ends and our favorite heroes get their happily ever after? Well, wonder no more. According to Disney Descendants, an upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, they were banished to the Isle of the Lost where they raised their children without magic, but with a healthy amount of mischief.

Add Ben, (Belle and Beast’s son) convincing his dad to let the Villain Kids go to school with all the children of heroes and royalty at Auradon Prep! Of course, the villains see this at their chance at redemption, and the Descendants see it as a chance to make their parents proud, but as the trailer tells us, high school is complicated.

Disney Descendants is directed by Kenny Ortega (of High School Musical and Newsies fame), and stars Dove Cameron as Mal (Maleficent’s daughter), Booboo Stewart as Jay (Jafar’s son), Cameron Boyce as Carlos (Cruella de Vil’s son), Sofia Carson as Evie (Evil Queen’s daughter), Kristen Chenoweth as Maleficent herself, and Kathy Najimy as Evil Queen.

Disney Descendants airs on Disney Channel this summer!

Apple has added new channels to Apple TV today — Vevo, Disney Channel, Disney XD, The Weather Channel, and the Smithsonian Channel.

Disney XD is a separate channel from Disney Channel, aimed at preteens and teenagers; both Disney channels require signing in with a selected cable provider. Smithsonian Channel includes a collection of on-demand videos, and does not require an existing cable TV subscription. After requesting your city or zip code, The Weather Channel uses a new interface to show you today’s weather, full-screen hourly and 10-day forecasts, region-specific forecast videos, access to Weather Channel shows, topics of interest, and featured videos.

A system update isn’t needed to see the new channels.
