Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700

Bose has ushered in a new era of headphones with the wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, featuring the biggest leap forward in headphones since the iconic QuietComfort.

The new Bose 700s introduce a revolutionary new voice interface that redefines mobile communication the way Bose noise cancellation redefined mobile audio. They’re built off the legendary performance of QCs to transform the most demanding environments into private sanctuaries for listening. And they debut new, pioneering technologies to magically transform the same public spaces into private rooms for talking with friends, family, and virtual personal assistants. With their exclusive innovation, the 700s isolate a user’s voice from 360 degrees of unwanted sound. And that lets Bose 700 owners do what’s never been done. Surrounded by competing conversations, rush-hour traffic, and loud subway platforms, they can share their quiet, and not the noise around them — for crystal clear calls to home and work, and unprecedented accuracy from VPAs. Siri for iOS is easily accessible, the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are both built-in — and now, Alexa is just a wake word away.

The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 fold flat with one twist of the earcups, and store neatly in a thin tapered hardcase that slides more easily into bags, backpacks, and seat-pockets. They come in Black and Silver, and will be sold directly from bose.com, Bose stores, and select resellers.

LG SnowWhite Ice Cream Maker Prototype

At SXSW, LG is showcasing a prototype personal ice cream maker, SnowWhite.

Using specialized capsules that create delicious flavors and creamy textures, anyone will be able to make frozen delights to satisfy various preferences – from traditional ice creams to sorbets to gelatos, even frozen yogurts.

The system is mix-and-match. Two capsules are combined: one for the flavor, and one for the type of dessert. That means that SnowWhite can also create things like frozen custard and granita, along with sherbet. At the end, a cleaning pod can be used to wash the whole system through, ready for the next batch.

Think of it as a Keurig for ice cream. No word yet on future availability or pricing.
