Brad Meltzer’s Official Book Tour Dates Announced For For ‘I Am Neil Armstrong’

Brad Meltzer will be touring in September to promote his new book, I Am Neil Armstrong.

Neil Armstrong’s journey to the moon is the focus of the fifteenth picture book in the New York Times bestselling series of biographies about heroes.

Neil Armstrong is the first person to ever walk on the moon. But before he took those famous steps, he was a boy who loved airplanes. He learned how to fly, and when the space race began, he became a new kind of pilot: an astronaut. Now he could fly all the way to outer space. With bravery and patience, Neil and his team worked hard and, after many small steps, they took a giant leap together. They landed their lunar module on the moon.

This friendly, fun biography series focuses on the traits that made our heroes great–the traits that kids can aspire to in order to live heroically themselves.

As always, if you want a signed book, please call Books & Books at 305-442-4408. If you call before the event, Brad can personalize it and they’ll ship it to you. For those who attend any event, as always, you can bring whatever you want for Brad to sign: thrillers, comics, kids books, etc. Or bring a friend. Brad signs friends too.

I Am Neil Armstrong By Brad Meltzer

My 8 year old daughter, Elli adores the Ordinary People Change the World book series by Brad Meltzer. His upcoming book is about the beloved astronaut Neil Armstrong whose journey to the moon is the focus of the fifteenth picture book in the New York Times bestselling collection of biographies about heroes.

This friendly, fun biography series focuses on the traits that made our heroes great–the traits that kids can aspire to in order to live heroically themselves. Each book tells the story of one of America’s icons in a lively, conversational way that works well for the youngest nonfiction readers and that always includes the hero’s childhood influences. At the back are an excellent timeline and photos. This volume tells the story of Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the moon.

The 40 page hardcover book will be released on September 11, 2018 and you can order it HERE. Age range 5-8 years.
