Heinz Releases Special Ed Sheeran Themed Bottles of Tomato Ketchup

Heinz has released a special edition Ed Sheeran themed bottle of tomato ketchup. Rebranded as Tomato Edchup and sporting an image of a Sheeran lookalike tomato, the bottles will hit the shelves in supermarkets later this month.

The Shape Of You singer is known for his love of Heinz tomato ketchup – he has an image of the famous label tattooed on his arm.

EdChup is still your standard ketchup, just with a cool label and you can buy the product right now at HeinzEdchup.com. It costs $5 for a 32-ounce bottle, plus $2.50 in shipping (along with tax) to get your hands on one.

Heinz Unveils Ketchup And Ranch Hybrid Called ‘Kranch’

What do you get when you combine ketchup and ranch? Kranch, of course, the newest condiment combination to hit stores (and soon to hit every dippable food you know).

If you’re the kind of person that likes the dip better than the food itself, the past year has been pretty great for you. In September 2018, Heinz unveiled Mayochup, a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup built for fry fans who can’t decide between the two common condiments. In March 2019, they released two saucy combos that had dip-lovers going wild: Mayomust and Mayocue, comprised of mayonnaise and mustard and mayonnaise and barbecue sauce, respectively.

Kranch sauce has already begun rolling out on shelves nationwide. The bottles will be sold for $3.49 each.

Heinz Develops Chicago Dog Sauce For The City That Won’t Put Ketchup On Its Hot Dogs

If you put ketchup on your hot dog, you’re not really a Chicagoan.

That truism is at the heart of a new Heinz campaign in which the brand leans into the Windy City’s no-ketchup-on-hot-dogs establishment by trying to develop a new tomato-based “Chicago Dog Sauce.” The hope is that people there actually would put this stuff on their hot dogs—along with the yellow mustard, chopped onions, sweet pickle relish, dill pickle spear, tomato slices, pickled sport peppers and dash of celery salt that make up the classic Chicago dog.

Chicago Dog Sauce, available for a limited time for $5 plus shipping and handling at chicagodogsauce.com, is being put to the test with product sampling throughout the Chicago area.

So, the whole campaign, timed to National Hot Dog Day on Tuesday, is a classic misdirect. Chicago Dog Sauce, with its “delicious red ripe tomatoes and special blend of spices and flavorings,” is really just regular old Heinz ketchup.
