Will Ferrell’s Ron Burgundy Returns With A New Podcast

Even though it’s been nearly five years since Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues hit theaters, we’ll still be getting some more Ron Burgundy in the future. Will Ferrell is bringing back his Anchorman character for a new podcast: The Ron Burgundy Podcast.

The podcast will play into the characters… antiquated views, while he still fancies himself a hard-hitting journalist ready to tackle a new audience with a podcast. Even if he isn’t quite sure what a podcast is. At any rate, it’s Will Ferrell running wild with one of his most beloved characters.

The Ron Burgundy Podcast will premiere on February 7 on theiHeartPodcast Network, with new episodes dropping every Thursday.

Stephen King On The Dark Tower Movie: An Entertainment Weekly Podcast

The quest to The Dark Tower is already underway, with Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey currently filming the big screen adaptation of Stephen King’s sprawling fantasy western.

For those seeking an early preview of how the February 2017 film is coming together, Entertainment Weekly presents this podcast version of our conversation with King himself, as well as director and co-writer Nikolaj Arcel (A Royal Affair.)

You’ll hear the two men describe approximately where the film will pick up within the storyline of King’s books, and both address why Elba was the right choice for Roland the Gunslinger — and why McConaughey was chosen as the sinister, shape-shifting Man in Black.

The interview was first broadcast on Behind the Scenes with Anthony Breznican, which airs every Wednesday on EW Radio, Sirius XM channel 105 at 6 p.m. ET, 3 p.m. PT.
