He’s big, he’s green, he’s ill-tempered  – and for the first time since 1971, he’s on the cover of Rolling Stone. As the Rolling Stone cover story puts it: “The Hulk is the breakout star of the Avengers movies, breaking stuff for all us sinners, hulking out for every hung-up person in the whole wide universe.”

The new issue which was released on April 24th, goes deep on both the Hulk and the real people in his sizable shadow. Senior Writer Brian Hiatt hung out in New York with Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner (and via motion-capture, the Hulk) in May 1st’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron and on Disney’s Burbank lot with Joss Whedon, the movie’s writer and director. Hulk co-creator Stan Lee and Incredible Hulk TV show executive producer Kenneth Johnson, among others, also chime in.

Kiss Finally Get The Cover of Rolling Stone

Forty years after the release of their debut album, Kiss have finally made the cover of Rolling Stone. Marking the band’s upcoming introduction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the cover image is a classic 1975 photo of the band’s original lineup: Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, plus Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, who were both gone from the band by the early Eighties.

The cover story, by Rolling Stone senior writer Brian Hiatt, tells the sad, hilarious and triumphant story of one of the biggest rock bands ever, taking an in-depth look at the founding members’ lives and careers.
The issue will go on sale Friday, March 28, 2014 and online tomorrow, March 26, 2014.

Twenty-five years after Neil Gaiman broke through with his classic series ‘The Sandman,’ DC’s Vertigo imprint is bringing it back in a limited run this fall.

“Well, one pretty obvious question that nobody actually asked when the comic book came out was basically why was the Sandman so easy to catch,” Gaiman says of deciding to go back to the beginning of the story now.
