Here Is A First Look Inside Season 2 of The Mandalorian

Baby Yoda was somehow in France — that’s what tipped it.

It was December 2019. The Mandalorian had been airing for only about a month on the nascent streaming service Disney+ when showrunner Jon Favreau saw an online photo of a large mural halfway across the world. The street art depicted his show’s cherubic, wide-eyed, Force-sensitive character peering solemnly from under a bridge. That was the moment, Favreau says, when he realized his series was becoming a phenomenon: The Mandalorian hadn’t yet aired in France — or anywhere in Europe, for that matter.

“The show wasn’t there!” Favreau says. “Something was going on where people were connecting with the characters, with social media allowing them to see aspects of the show before they even knew what it was.”

Baby Yoda — which Disney has fruitlessly tried to persuade the world to call the Child, as its actual parents are unknown and its species is considered rare and mysterious — was only part of the frenzy. After a slew of recent Star Wars movies were met with fandom reactions that ranged from “Hey, that was fun” (2015’s The Force Awakens) to “Why, exactly?” (2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story), The Mandalorian’s audience score on Rotten Tomatoes (93 percent “Fresh”) was higher than any live-action Star Wars title since George Lucas’ beloved original trilogy. The show also earned 15 Emmy nominations in July, including a nod for Outstanding Drama Series, a feat that stunned industry insiders. Not too shabby for a show about a hero whose face you cannot see (Pedro Pascal) who is partnered with a kid who doesn’t speak.

Loungefly Baby Yoda Mini Backpack

The time has finally come…..the moment we have all been waiting for…..Loungefly is very proud to present…….The Child from the Disney+ hit series The Mandalorian!

Dimensions: W: 9″ X H: 10″ X D: 4″

This has probably been the most anticipated backpack in the history of Loungefly. As many of you know, Loungefly started this design out very differently. After hearing from fans, they decided to make a couple modifications.

Introducing the Child in the craddle. We are not sure what species it is? We don’t know if it has a gender? We don’t even know its name. But everyone knows who it is. How incredibly adorable is this child. Don’t ya just want to pinch its little cheeks??

This faux leather mini backpack includes printed, debossed, applique and metal plaque details. Keep an eye out for the little froggy charm. Better keep that out of the Child’s mouth. This mini backpack is most definitely “The Way”

Take a look at the new signature crown metal rivets. These will be used on all future backpacks going forward. This will be the easiest way to determine if the bag is an official Loungefly bag and not another knockoff.

Temuera Morrison Returning To Star Wars In The Mandalorian

The list of characters from the wide-spanning Star Wars lore set to appear in the second season of The Mandalorian is expanding as it’s been announced Temuera Morrison is set to appear in the highly-anticipated next chapter of the titular bounty hunter’s story, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Morrison previously appeared in the franchise in the second prequel installment Attack of the Clones as Jango Fett, the genetic template for the clones of the Galactic Empire’s Clone Army. Jango was killed by Samuel L. Jackson’s Mace Windu during the Battle of Geonosis, with his son clone finding his helmet and hinting at his future as the original trilogy’s Boba Fett. Sources report that Morrison is set to portray Boba in the upcoming second season of the hit Disney+ series.

Alongside Boba Fett, the second season will reportedly feature the live-action debut of Jedi Padawan turned Rebel Alliance spymaster Ahsoka Tano with Rosario Dawson (Zombieland: Double Tap) in talks to portray the fan-favorite character, though the star recently confirmed that the deal is not yet sealed on the part.

In addition to the announce of Boba Fett joining the character roster, multiple directors recently confirmed their involvement on the new season, including Robert Rodriguez (Alita: Battle Angel) and Ant-Man franchise director Peyton Reed, who joined the that already includes the returns of Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Dave Filoni, Carl Weathers and Jon Favreau (The Lion King).

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

Pedro Pascal (Kingsman: The Golden Circle) stars as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy and is joined by Gina Carano (Deadpool) who plays Cara Dune, a former Rebel Shock Trooper, having trouble re-integrating herself into society.; and Carl Weathers as Greef, a man who heads a guild of bounty hunters that hires The Mandalorian for a specific job.

The series also stars Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), Omid Abtahi (American Gods), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man) and Nick Nolte (Affliction).

Rosario Dawson Joins The Mandalorian Season 2 As Ahsoka Tano

Slash Film has brought word that the second season of Disney+’s acclaimed Star Wars spinoff The Mandalorian is making a huge creative decision to cast Rosario Dawson (Zombieland: Double Tap) to star as a live-action version of fan-favorite Rebels and Clone Wars character Ahsoka Tano!

Tano made her first appearance in Star Wars lore in the 2008 Clone Wars film that led into the hit TV series, which was revived for its last season that is currently airing on Disney+, and has since spun off into other series such as Rebels as well as video games and comics. She was originally the padawan to Anakin Skywalker and was not well-received by fans of the franchise, but as her character grew and developed over the years, she quickly became one of the highest-regarded characters in the entire franchise.

Fans can expect to see the character in the upcoming second season of the hit series which is set to premiere in October.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order.
