Watch The New Dark Phoenix Trailer

In Dark Phoenix, the X-Men face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey. During a rescue mission in space, Jean is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, this force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable. Wrestling with this entity inside her, Jean unleashes her powers in ways she can neither comprehend nor contain. With Jean spiraling out of control, and hurting the ones she loves most, she begins to unravel the very fabric that holds the X-Men together. Now, with this family falling apart, they must find a way to unite — not only to save Jean’s soul, but to save our very planet from aliens who wish to weaponize this force and rule the galaxy.

Written and Directed by Simon Kinberg the film stars: Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), James McAvoy (Professor Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), Evan Peters (Quicksilver), and Jessica Chastain

Along with star Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Dark Phoenix will bring back much of the cast of the new films, which also includes Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler) and Evan Peters (Quicksilver). Lamar Johnson of The Next Step has joined the cast in a mystery role and the mutant Dazzler will reportedly play a part in the film.

Watch The New Detective Pikachu Trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the new Detective Pikachu trailer.

The Detective Pikachu movie’s eclectic cast consists of Golden Globe nominee Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) as the titular talking Pokemon with Justice Smith (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Kathryn Newton (Big Little Lies), Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai), Suki Waterhouse (Assassination Nation), Rita Ora (Fifty Shades Freed) and Golden Globe winner Bill Nighy (Gideon’s Daughter). Smith will star as a teen whose father is kidnapped which leads him to Reynolds’ Pikachu and Kathryn Newton as a young journalist who team up in order to find him.

Goosebumps helmer Rob Letterman is on directing duty while Mary Parent (The Revenant) and Cale Boyter are producing the film for Legendary Entertainment. The screenplay was written by Letterman and Nicole Perlman.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming first live-action Pokémon movie will arrive in theaters on May 11.

Watch The City On A Hill Trailer

In the early 1990s, Boston was rife with violent criminals emboldened by local law enforcement agencies in which corruption and racism was the norm – and then it all changed in what was called the “Boston Miracle.” 

In this fictional account, assistant district attorney Decourcy Ward (Aldis Hodge) comes from Brooklyn and forms an unlikely alliance with a corrupt yet venerated FBI veteran, Jackie Rhor (Kevin Bacon). Together, they take on a family of armored car robbers in a case that grows to involve, and ultimately subvert, the entire criminal justice system of Boston.

Co-created by Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Tom Fontana, City on a Hill premieres on Showtime on Sunday, June 16 at 9/8c.

Watch The Nancy Drew And The Hidden Staircase Trailer

Ellen DeGeneres‘ A Very Good Production and Warner Bros. Pictures have released the new trailer for Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase. Starring IT breakout star Sophia Lillis as the iconic titular character, the film will arrive in theaters on March 15.

The film focuses on Nancy Drew (Lillis), a smart high schooler with a penchant for keen observation and deduction, who stumbles upon the haunting of a local home. A bit of an outsider struggling to fit into her new surroundings, Nancy and her pals set out to solve the mystery, make new friends, and establish their place in the community.

Award-winning director Katt Shea (Poison Ivy) helms the film from a script by the screenwriting team of Nina Fiore and John Herrera (The Handmaid’s Tale, The Vampire Diaries). DeGeneres, Jeff Kleeman (The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) and Chip Diggins (A Walk in the Woods) are producers with Wendy S. Williams (The Fate of the Furious) executive producing.

Zoe Renee (The Quad) and Mackenzie Graham (Syfy’s The Purge) are featured as Nancy Drew’s core BFFs, George and Bess, respectively. Laura Slade Wiggins (Shameless) portrays Helen, a high school mean girl who reluctantly joins forces with Nancy to help solve the mystery. Sam Trammell (True Blood) plays Nancy’s father, Carson, with Linda Lavin (Alice) as Flora, the owner of the haunted house, and Andrea Anders (Joey, The Stepford Wives) starring as Nancy’s Aunt Hannah.

The cast also includes Jay DeVon Johnson (Vice Principals), Andrew Matthew Welch (Ma), Jon Briddell (The Resident), Josh Daugherty (We Were Soldiers), Evan Castelloe (Queen Sugar), and Jesse C. Boyd (Hap and Leonard).

Watch The Dumbo International Trailer

Walt Disney Pictures has released a new international trailer for director Tim Burton’s live-action Dumbo. Featuring new footage from the film, the video also highlights the first meeting between the main characters and the adorable titular elephant.

From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, the all-new grand live-action adventure Dumbo expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus.

But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

Directed by Tim Burton (Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger (Ophelia, Dream House), the film is set to take flight on March 29.

Watch The New Missing Link Trailer

Annapurna Pictures and LAIKA have released the all-new Missing Link trailer! The animated film stars Hugh Jackman (The Greatest Showman) as Sir Lionel Frost, Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Adelina Fortnight and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) as the lovable titular monster.

In the film, Zach Galifianakis is Mr. Link: the slightly silly, surprisingly smart and soulful beast who is the last living remnant of Man’s primitive ancestry, the Missing Link. As species go, he couldn’t be more endangered; he’s the last of his kind and he’s lonely. Proposing a daring quest to find his rumored distant relatives, he enlists the help of Sir Lionel Frost, the world’s foremost investigator of myths and monsters, and Adelina Fortnight, who possesses the only known map to the group’s secret destination, in an odyssey around the world to find the fabled valley of Shangri-La.

Bursting with humor, heart, and a profound message of acceptance and finding one’s place, Missing Link is written and directed by Oscar nominee Chris Butler (ParaNorman). LAIKA’s head of production and Oscar nominee Arianne Sutner (ParaNorman, Kubo and the Two Strings) is producing with Knight, who earned an Academy Award nomination and BAFTA win for his directorial debut on Kubo.

The voice cast also includes award-winning actors from all corners of the world, such as Oscar winner Emma Thompson (Sense and Sensibility), Stephen Fry (The Hobbit), Timothy Olyphant (Justified), Matt Lucas (Alice In Wonderland), David Walliams (Little Britain), Amrita Acharia (Game of Thrones), and Ching Valdes-Aran (Nurse Jackie).

Missing Link will debut in theaters on April 19.

Watch The New Us Movie Trailer 

Director Jordan Peele has revealed the second trailer for his new film Us.

Us stars Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther), Winston Duke (Black Panther), Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale) and Tim Heidecker (Ant-Man and the Wasp) along with Shahadi Wright Joseph (Hairspray Live!), Evan Alex (Mani), Madison Curry, Cali Sheldon, Noelle Sheldon (Friends) and Duke Nicholson.

In the film, a mother (Lupita Nyong’o) and a father (Winston Duke) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends (including Elizabeth Moss). But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited.”

Us is written and directed by Peele (Get Out), who also produces through his Monkeypaw Productions. 

Peele is gearing up to produce a remake of director Bernard Rose’s 1992 horror film Candyman and is also busy working on the series Weird City for YouTube Premium, HBO’s Lovecraft Country and the CBS series remake of The Twilight Zone.

US arrives in theaters on March 22.
