Benjamin Wagner and his brother have been self-producing an independent documentary about meeting Fred Rogers. After over $30,000 of self-financing, some 4,000 miles of travel and hours and hours of videotape, they have a 75-minute rough cut.
In order for them to finish their project the filmmakers are reaching out to fans for financial assistance. Their goal is to raise $10,000 by September 19th; right now friends have pitched in more than $6,000.
