Amazon MGM Studios has released the first trailer for its remake of the 1989 action classic “Road House,” which will be available to stream on Prime Video on March 21.
The feature stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a former UFC fighter struggling to make ends meet. After the owner of a Florida Keys roadhouse finds him sleeping in his car, Elwood Dalton becomes a bouncer and finds himself roped into a war of outlaws and bikers (including actual mixed martial artist, turned first-time actor, Conor McGregor) and a developer determined to build a lavish resort for “rich assholes.”

Rounding out the cast are Billy Magnussen (“No Time to Die”), Daniela Melchior (“The Suicide Squad”), Gbemisola Ikumelo (“A League of Their Own”), Lukas Gage (“The White Lotus”), Hannah Love Lanier (“A Black Lady Sketch Show”), Travis Van Winkle (“You”), B.K. Cannon (“Why Women Kill”), Arturo Castro (“Broad City”), Dominique Columbus (“Ray Donovan”), Beau Knapp (“Seven Seconds”) and Bob Menery.
Doug Liman (“Edge of Tomorrow”) directs the movie from a script written by Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry.
